Lee is a former senior civil service professional. His specialities include Business Transformation; Project Management: Resource Planning and Law Enforcement. A BSc graduate, Lee has studied environmental, social, economic and political issues within a global context. This has complemented a vocational humanitarian career spanning in excess of 30 years that has included humanitarian responses to the World Trade Centre terrorist attack in New York. In 2004, he became part of a specialist team that attended Sri Lanka to provide direct humanitarian support and experience to Tsunami devastated communities. His support to these vulnerable communities continues to-date.
Lee has historical family links to each of the Armed Services and is committed to assisting military personnel in their transition following a committed service career. He has enjoyed close relations with 40th Regiment, Royal Artillery for many years, where he has provided support to many NCOs leaving the service into civilian life.
